Privacy Policy

Chomp Catch is built by AndiAI Tech. We designed the app so that the most sensitive thing it touches — your face — never leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what data is and isn't collected, and why.

1. Camera & face data — not collected

Chomp Catch uses the front camera to detect when your mouth is open. All face detection happens on your device, in memory, via Google's MediaPipe FaceLandmarker framework with GPU acceleration.

• No camera frames are ever uploaded to any server.
• No face landmarks or biometric data are ever uploaded.
• No images or video are saved to your Photos, to disk, or to iCloud.
• We operate no servers that could receive this data, even in principle.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We show one rewarded ad placement: after a game-over, you can optionally watch an ad to continue your run with extra lives. Tapping this is the only way an ad is ever shown. We use Google's AdMob SDK to serve it.

AdMob may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you granted App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, a non-personalized ad is served instead.
• Advertising-related usage data (ad impressions, clicks).
• Diagnostic data (crashes, performance).

We ask for tracking permission contextually, the first time you tap "Watch ad", never on cold launch. You can revoke it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. Game Center (optional)

If you sign into Game Center, the app submits your high score to Apple's global leaderboard. Your Game Center player ID is used to attribute the score. Game Center is entirely optional — if you decline or aren't signed in, the game still works; scores just stay on your device.

4. Local data on your device

The app stores a few values in UserDefaults on your device only:

• Your high score, best combo, games played, current streak.
• Your mute preference.
• Whether you've seen the tutorial.

These never leave your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app.

5. Children

Chomp Catch is rated 4+ and is family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The rewarded ad placement surfaces standard AdMob family-safe inventory when the device indicates a child user via Apple's Family Sharing.

6. Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's very little to access, export, or delete. If you want to reset your local stats, uninstall the app. For anything else, email us at privacy@andiaitech.com and we'll respond within 7 days.

7. Changes to this policy

If we meaningfully change how data is handled, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date. Material changes (e.g. adding any kind of backend that receives user data) will be announced in the app before they take effect.
