The game can't find my face

• Make sure you're in reasonable light — a dim room or strong backlight can fool the detector.
• Hold the phone at roughly face height with the front camera (selfie camera) pointed at you.
• Check that you granted camera permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Chomp Catch.
• A single face works best. The game tracks the largest face in frame.

Gameplay doesn't start

The game waits for you to smile before it starts spawning fruit. Flash your teeth and the countdown begins. If your face isn't fully visible, smile detection won't trigger.

The rewarded ad won't load

• Check your internet connection — rewarded ads need a quick network round-trip.
• We'll show a spinner for up to 6 seconds while loading; if it can't load, the ad is skipped and you'll go back to the game-over screen.
• Ad inventory varies by region and time of day. Try again in a few minutes.

How do I mute the game?

Tap the speaker icon at the top-right of the start screen or top bar during gameplay. Your preference is saved.

How do streaks work?

Play at least one game each calendar day (your device's local date) to extend your streak. Miss a day and it resets.

Can I play without Game Center?

Yes. Game Center is entirely optional — it's only used for the global leaderboard. Your local high score works fine without signing in.

I want to delete my data

Uninstall the app. Since we don't collect any personal data server-side, there's no account to delete — everything lives on your device. If you also signed into Game Center, you can reset your leaderboard score from Apple's Game Center settings.
